Title: Cisco CCNP Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA
Roles and Responsibilities:
The project teams will request documentation and other information regarding the company’s network. The Network Engineer will receive, log, and review the requests, validate that the information is appropriate for release to the requesting project team per guidelines, search documentation libraries and management tools and systems, and log in to network devices to gather the information needed to fulfill the requests. The Network Engineer will deliver the requested information and log the completion of the request. The Network Engineer will act as the main point of contact between our client and WWT and OEM’s for applicable network information. The Network Engineer will provide weekly status updates and attend weekly status calls.
Minimum 5 years experience with Cisco networking
Strong understanding of networking concepts such as OSI Model, packet architecture, security, authentication
Cisco Router configuration and troubleshooting (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)
Cisco Switching configuration and troubleshooting (VLANs, STP, Etherchannel)
Cisco ASA experience (NAT, Access-lists, VPN)
Virtualization and understanding of concepts (VMware, Hyper-V)
Proven ability to multi-task.
Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written correspondence) in a professional and courteous manner with technical and non-technical personnel.
