POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Position will provide management, solution expertise and thought leadership in the implementation of the physical and logical solutions for selected Public Sector customers; Role will also ensure that new solutions preserve architectural integrity and consistency with approved standards and strategies
  • Required to manage a technical team that develops, deploys, and maintains IT solutions for Public Sector customers
  • Identify resources needed, assigns individual responsibilities, and tracks for successful completion of tasks
  • Provide expertise and thought leadership to create solutions that provide appropriate levels of performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
  • Participate in customer facing activities such as presentations and technical discussions; Ensure that all solutions comply with customer's contractual requirements
  • Research and communicate industry trends; Serve as a subject matter expert for selected products and technologies and manage the strategic roadmaps for these products and technologies
  • Manages and directs the supportinfrastructure and delivery of software maintenance and subscription services
  • Understand market requirements and competitive practices and communicate to marketing to be included in SWM offers; Monitors SWM renewals and insures sales has the information to complete the transaction
  • Support deployment of the web based support system into the area of responsibility
  • Continue to review and improve analysis of business processes, objectives and strategic direction in resolving opportunities within the business
  • Participate as Subject Matter Expert as a representative of North America in overall business planning and processes to develop a cohesive service delivery; Ensure reuse of knowledge, processes and service offers across the business
  • Responsible for the integration of enterprise-wide knowledge creation processes, as well as identifying and implementing standards, data requirements, information and tools
  • Supports other project teams outside of geographic area; Leads business development and engagement teams locally; Manages projects requiring innovative business solutions and new technologies
  • Contributes to new technology and methodologies for BU professional Services
  • Constructs and leads engagement teams to design integrate and implement advanced solutions
  • Independently executes the Project Plan using GlobalPM Methodology
  • Develops recommended resolutions to issues that are escalated to Management or Program Manager

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Experience developing global enterprise solutions that deliver high levels of availability and performance
  • Strong problem solving & analysis skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
