Nemours Children’s Specialty Care (NSCS) in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a BC/BE pediatric psychiatrist to join its growing hospital and outpatient psychiatric mental health care team.
The pediatric psychiatry position involves a comprehensive clinical experience with a wide variety of clinical roles and responsibilities, including inpatient, partial and consultation-liaison; in a charming and pleasant pediatric hospital setting at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, as well as outpatient continuity care at Nemours Children’s Specialty Care at any of our three attractive downtown and satellite clinic locations. Both Wolfson and Nemours are considered regional leaders in pediatric health care. In addition to clinical duties, there are academic opportunities in the of trainees from the University of Florida pediatric and psychiatric residency programs, fellows from the Nemours-Mayo Clinic pediatric neurology fellowship program, and residents in the Mayo Clinic family practice residency program, among others. Both University of Florida and Mayo Clinic offer appropriate level of academic titles to Nemours affiliated providers based upon their qualifications.

The Nemours Division of Psychiatry includes a team of psychiatrists and nurse practitioners who work closely in tandem with staff psychologists within the Division of Psychology and neuropsychologists in the Division of Pediatric Neurology, as well as pediatric medical subspecialists. The Division of Psychiatry is part of the Department of Pediatrics at Nemours and collaborates closely with the various medical and surgical divisions within NCSC, as well as a referral source for numerous community primary care practices in the area.
