Required: ARRT or CNMT registered in Nuclear medicine, Five years work experience as a Nuclear Medicine technologist. Two years supervisory experience.
Under the general direction of the Chairman and the Administrative Director of Radiology and with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment is responsible for the overall supervision of the section and technical staff.
Supervises and directs the Nuclear Medicine service, Enforces departmental and Hospital policies and procedures. Makes appropriate staffing decisions, provides supervision for all assigned personnel. Performs Quality assurance and carries out both QC and QA program for section. Advises on new equipment purchases, cost saving measures, safety programs, JCAHO compliance. Performs as Nuclear Medicine. Assures that all NRC requirements are met. ARRT or CNMT registered in nuclear medicine. Must be thoroughly versed in Nuclear Medicine procedures.
Hours: 40 control hours.
