Are you passionate about making a real impact in an incredible horticulture company as their new Chief Operating Officer implementing improvements for growth and profitability? Work directly with the CEO as an EOS Integrator to implement the vision throughout the entire organization.
*Contribute your expertise to create and achieve aggressive goals with strategies, efficiencies, best practices, technology, performance metrics and accountability that energize and optimize people, processes, profitability, safety and quality throughout the organization and each functional area.
*Advance the infrastructure, talent, and processes while increasing revenue, eliminating waste and expanding margins and market share.
*Manage multiple locations with sustainable, repeatable high-performance and results.
*Mentor and coach the senior leadership team with strategic and tactical insight that creates sustainable tangible improvements in strategy, growth, performance, accountability and excellence.
*Create an effective, collaborative environment with the senior management team and departments for organization wide accountability and synergy that improves each manager’s performance individually and collectively.
*Achieve growth with existing and new customer and channel partner relationships, new business development, new markets, and opportunities for long term growth.
*Network and represent the company externally with stakeholders and at professional networking opportunities.
ü Financial acumen for P&L forecasts with ability to explain variances and suggest corrective action.
ü Manage, train and mentor to form high-performance, results oriented employees throughout the organization focused on best practices, profitability, safety, customer satisfaction, performances that achieve results.
*Analyze, understand and stay ahead of the industry, trends, and competitors.
*A minimum of five (5) years of successful senior leadership experience in horticulture, CPG, grocery, wholesale or related field with the ability to demonstrate individual contributions that resulted in improving the performance of the organization and the senior leaders individually and collectively.
*Individual contributions that created quantifiable improvements in the organization and in every functional area including operations, finance, growing/production, sales, marketing and technology.
*Experience as an EOS Integrator and a minimum of a four-year degree in horticulture or related field preferred.
