Vision: Professional services firm is actively seeking a COO / Director of Operations to enhance infrastructure.
Reporting to the CEO, and working with a dynamic management team, you will set strategic annual goals, build internal structure and skills, knowledge, best practices, and support new initiatives.
You will develop and implement strategic growth plans, improve client service, and insure cost efficiencies.
You will help to reengineer workflow, oversee and updatetechnology, and facilities management.
You will supervise approx.15 staff including finance, IT, administrative functions.
You will oversee acquisitions due diligence, the budget process, expenses, procurement, contract and lease negotiations, provide training and professional development and provide key business internal performance metrics, among others. Lots of special projects.
Requirements: CPA or JDrequired plus 5+ years’ experience as a COO or Director of Ops or equivalent. Must have professional services industry experience (law firm, Big 4/national/regional CPA firm, engineering firm, etc.). Having manufacturing experience is an automatic disqualification.
Must have experience developing best practices by establishing systems and workflow to support a growing organization plus strong finance, IT, and supply chain. Must have an outgoing positive demeanor. Extra credit for knowing, the name of the GOT dragon that became a White Walker?.
Reward: $175, to $200, DOE plus bonus and solid benefits.
