As our Chief Operating Officer, your mission is to strengthen, optimize, and scale our teams, systems, and processes to meet our ambitious company vision. This is an executive leadership role, requiring expertise in business strategy, team leadership, and growth planning — plus a keen ability to execute efficiently, effectively, and with the highest bar for excellence. As a technology-based company, we’re looking for a candidate with a sharp understanding of modern tools, workflows, and business management methodologies.
** Leadership of our finance team is an interim responsibility with the expectation that we’ll promote or hire a CFO within 12-18 months.

Candidates must have experience operating companies exceeding $15M in annual revenue, with a track record of business success. We anticipate the chosen candidate will have at least 15 years of relevant professional experience. Agency experience is not required but is preferred.
This is a full-time position at our office in downtown Norfolk, Virginia, where we’ve adopted a “flex hybrid” approach to work — with three days per week in the office and two remote, plus the option to work fully remotely for up to two months out of the year. Grow offers paid relocation to the Norfolk/Virginia Beach region, and temporary housing for selected candidates. We will also consider candidates in Portland, Oregon, as we have a growing staff presence in that area.
