Chief of Training, Safety and Compliance-Industry-Leading Railroad Services Provider 

Our client is an industry leading provider of Railroad Services that have achieved solid year over year growth over the past 8+ years. They seek an accomplished Chief of Training, Safety and Compliance to lead, develop and roll-out a company-wide Health and Safety program that will adhere to company, governmental and customer expectations in the areas of Health, Safety and the Environment. The Chief of Training, Safety and Compliance will be the go-to company leader for all aspects of Safety and Health, working closely with all levels of the organization to ensure a world-class culture in health, safety and regulation compliance best practices is instilled from top to bottom.

You will be a proven leader in coaching individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. You will command respect and at the same time be highly approachable and trusted by the team. This is essentially one of the most critical roles in the company - ensuring the highest level of adherence required in health, safety and industry standards. The most important aspect to the company’s continued success is the well-being of the team.

Interested candidates will have a background in railroad services, where stringent regulations are adhered to. You will either come from a Class 1 Railroad or a business that provides outsourced solutions to Class 1 railroads. You will also be required to have at least 5years’ experience in Health, Safety and Regulatory adherence leadership and a Bachelordegree in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).   

The Chief of Training/Director of Safety and Compliance will be based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, where the company is headquartered. This role requires strong leadership and a flexible, dedicated disposition as you may be called upon during off-hours for emergencies in which an immediate response is needed.
