We are currently seeking a dynamic Chief of Information Management (CIM) to lead an exciting opportunity in Alaska. The Chief of Information Management (CIM) will be a key information technology leader within Beacon Health Options. This position provides a unique opportunity to join a recently formed program in Alaska and energetic team that is creating and transforming how IT interacts with our stakeholders. The CIM will serve as an IT liaison between internal and external stakeholders as well as being responsible for hardware, software, data analytics, and reporting for the Alaska Program.
Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as a “trusted advisor,” and function as a liaison with Beacon senior leadership and external IT business stakeholders.
Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders and IT enablement, providing cross department visibility into demand, operational support, budget/resource allocation, enterprise solutions, and execution of key projects.
Maintain the demand process for new proposals with overall responsibility for steering these proposals through the early phases of approval.
Develop and enhance relationships with key business stakeholders, actively manage their expectations, and monitor satisfaction levels.
Address business demand by capturing high-level technology requirements and strategic objectives.
Act as an advocate on behalf of the IT business stakeholders to ensure the IT organization is aware of key business priorities and needs.
Promote business knowledge of IT process, roles, and procedures to ensure the best possible outcome.
Understand and anticipate the direction of the business needs, identify opportunities, and make recommendations to support the desired future state.
Work as the strategic interface with all areas within the IT organization (i.e. Software/Web Development, EDI, Security, Technology Services) for the purpose of business-IT strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management, and relationship management.
Education: Minimum of a master’s degree in Computer Science/Business Information Systems
Relevant Work Experience: Three years’ information systems management experience, including three years’ experience in IT
