Direct Reports: Clinical Operations Leaders (Nurse Practitioner, Quality and Training), National Laboratory Director and Reviewing Physicians

Life Line Screening is dedicated to providing health knowledge to help peoplelead healthier, fuller lives by offering affordable, reliable preventive screenings. We provide community-based screening events, staffed by highly trained licensed healthcare professionals. Our screenings take place in neighborhoods all over the contiguous United States in community centers, places of worship, senior centers, and corporations.

Summary of Position:

The Chief Medical Officer is responsible for the highest level of clinical operations and oversight for Life Line Screening's (LLS) consumer-driven health services to a pro-active, health conscious, generally 50+ year old population. The LLS customer chooses to pay out-of-pocket for preventive screenings, not typically covered by insurance without symptoms or the presence of disease, to promote a healthy andlong life. Our sister company, Life Line Community Healthcare (LLCH), works alongside LLS to deliver a Medicare reimbursed service to eligible 65+ year old customers.


  • Oversees and supports product development decisions that maximize our existing healthcare services platform and leads consideration of new products that will align with the business objectives
  • Manages P&L responsibility of all Clinical areas: Screening related, Laboratory costs, reading physician staff and other clinical salaries, etc.
  • Chief responsibility for the clinical operations direction of 50+ mobile health screening teams across the United States
  • Supports Sales and Marketing through presentation to key decision makerswith potential partners and new vendors
  • Oversees all aspects of clinical quality assurance for LLS and LLCH
  • Directs Life Line Screening's clinical research collaborations and analysis
  • Represents company with clinical and regulatory bodies
  • Serves as Chief Spokesperson for medical matters with media
  • Develops and maintains relationships with academic institutions for the purposes of business and research collaboration
  • Oversees the team of Reviewing Physicians to include clinical direction, results pack reviews/quality audits, and corrective action, where needed
  • Participates in executive strategic planning at the corporate level
  • Standard travel cycle of 2-3 times per month (internal/external presence; key medical executive meetings, SLT meetings)
    • Demonstrates effective leadership skills of delegation, organization, and coordination of the business activities and inter-department relationships

LocationCorporate HeadquartersRequirements

  • Medical degree with vascular or other relevant specialty
  • Valid medical license in good standing
  • Board certified in at least one specialty
  • 10 years'+ of clinical practice experience
  • 5+ years' experience in an executive medical/administrative leadership capacity with P&L and direct supervisory responsibilities
  • Effective communication in both written and verbal formats
  • Skilled in planning and organizing, process management, customer focus, andtime management
  • Strategic understanding of the national healthcare delivery marketplace
  • Familiarity with EMR systems
