Responsible for directing the Marketing team and external vendors/partners in the creation of organizational branding and marketing strategies; directing all facets of corporate communications which includes mass media, social media, internal and external communications, and public relations; and cultivating new partnerships/relationships to further advance the mission of the IMB.
Serve as chief communication strategist and advisor to the President and EVP on internal and external executive communications.
Develop and deliver a brand strategy and related messaging aligned with the Revelation 7:9 vision and the Strategic Growth plan through a wide variety of media channels around the world.
Ensure alignment of brand image across all channels.
Ensure that the right leaders are in front of the right audiences, with the right messages, at the right time.
Partner with other SBC organizations for consistent messaging. Create strategic partnerships and relationships to further objectives.
Knowledge and experience of Southern Baptist Convention.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism or Communications
Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar Senior Level position, directing the overall Marketing and Communication strategies for an organization.
Advanced analytical skills evaluating brand and marketing strategies and their impact.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with experience making presentations to varied audiences.
Experience managing teams
Intermediate technical skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Teams
Intermediate project management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple projects
Ability to travel domestically and internationally on a frequent basis.
