North Star Behavioral Health System is comprised of both inpatient and residential treatment programs in and around the Anchorage Alaska area for children, adolescent, teens, and adults. The entire system is comprised of 200-beds. North Star Hospital is an acute psychiatric hospital with three campuses comprised of inpatient beds for adolescent boys, children, and preteens. The Bragaw campus has the Chris Kyle Patriot Hospital with 18 inpatient beds for substance/Alcohol dependence and post-traumatic stress programs for first responders, military service members and veterans needing treatment. Bragaw campus also includes an 18 bed Adult acute unit for Substance/Alcohol dependence and mental health co-occurring disorders for those above the age of 18. The system also provides two 30 bed Residential Treatment Centers located on the main campus in Anchorage and the other in Palmer, AK.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role in a healthcare setting. Behavioral health strongly preferred.
•Minimum education requirement of a Bachelor's degree. Master's degree preferred
•Proven record of success improving the profitability of a hospital by continually monitoring costs in all areas, especially staffing as it relates to patient volume.
•At least 5 years of experience overseeing the Business Office functions to ensure cash collection goals are met, and net revenue is properly stated.
