As 15Five wraps up its Series B funding round, we are looking for our first dedicated finance leader to propel us into our next phase of growth. Our ideal candidate combines executive leadership experience and functional expertise in hyper-growth SaaS companies pushing to $50M in revenue and beyond. S/he will serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, and contribute to product, revenue, hiring, and capital strategies. In addition, our CFO will advise across the organization and implement process improvements to improve efficiency, scalability, and productivity. The CFO will partner with the CEO in Board management, investor relations, and fundraising activities. Equally important, we are seeking candidates who authentically live and breath the 15Five values, and are inspired by our vision to unlock the potential of the global workforce. This role is based in either our San Francisco, CA headquarters or our office in Raleigh, NC and will report to the CEO.

FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS

Lead, monitor and update budgeting across all departments, coaching department leads and ensuring that our spending is generating ROI

Partner with CRO and VP of Marketing to establish and track revenue goals

Support CEO and Chief of Staff on fundraising efforts and investor relations

Lead the preparation of board packets and slides for board meetings and board budget reviews, including financials and metrics reporting, administrative information, and key strategic topics for discussion

TREASURY MANAGEMENT

Lead all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to our general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting

Oversee cashflow and working capital timing issues

Accurately measure CAC and LTV

Engage bank partners to explore non-equity sources of financing

Work closely with department heads to maintain spending against budget

LEGAL & PEOPLE

Partner closely with People & Culture team to evaluate and determine employee benefits, policies and total rewards options, including vetting and outlining ESOP, bonus and sales commission plans

Partner closely with VP of People Operations in developing and overseeing company-wide hiring plans, employment terms and global eployment compliance

Oversee all business insurance plans, ensuring that they meet all company needs and mitigate risk

Oversee all legal and compliance documentation including CIIAAs, NDAs, non-solicitation and IP agreements

Ensure that all regulatory requirements and reporting are met

Negotiate key contracts

Lease and office space research, negotiation and signing, including international locations.
