Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City, IA has a need for a new Chief Executive Officer who will report to the Board of Directors.  This wonderful facility in operation since 1946, Good Shepherd Health Center has the experience and resources to be the best place for your loved one’s long term care placement.  The new CEO will be the executive leader of a large complex with 500 Residents and 350 employees.  Good Shepherd provides nursing home, assisted living, independent living plus therapy services. 

 The new Chief Executive Officer  serves as the Executive Director of Good Shepherd, Inc. and is responsible, together with the Board of Directors, for the success of Good Shepherd, Inc. and its subsidiaries. 

The CEO assures Good Shepherd’s relevance to the community,, the accomplishment of the mission and the accountability of Good Shepherd, Inc. to the sponsoring member churches.

   The Chief Executive Officer will manage the staff of Administrator, Assisted Living Program Director, Independent Apartment Director, Chaplain and the Accountant/Office Manager.  The CEO will be accountable for:  Legal Compliance, Mission, policy and planning, Management, Governance, Finance and Community relations.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  •  Minimum of 10 years’ experience with at least 5 years in senior management
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Licensed as a Long Term Care Administrator
  • Commitment to results, business savvy, leading change and motivation
