The individual selected will serve as the Chief Engineer on an IC contract and a senior member of the ProgramManagement Office team in support of the Systems Engineering Directorate.
Reporting directly to the PM, the Chief Engineer will serve as the primary point of contact for technical support on the program . This position requires an understanding of the intelligence community, along with a strong focus on core systems engineering processes in support of end-to-end mission closure.
The chosen candidate must have extensive knowledge of Electro-Optical (EO), RADAR and SIGINT systems; extensive knowledge of SOA implementations, Communications systems, mission management and mission processing; extensive knowledge of verification and validation across EO, SIGINT, Communication and ground support systems; and software development.
The selected candidate will have the aptitude to assess processes and create efficiencies continuously, and will lead projects for systems team work, have frequent interactions with senior level government officials, and support system and mission strategy development across the various customer offices. The candidate will have daily interaction with the customer and supporting contractors, and will need to follow customer standards and processes as the program matures through the life cycle. The candidate shall also support weekly Division Chief meetings.
