We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to join US Bank to lead the Portfolio Management organization for our entire Corporate Banking segment. It will provide the right person the opportunity to influence senior leaders across the organization.


This position will function as the Chief Credit Officer for the Corporate and Public Sectors in Corporate Banking. The position will directly lead and manage Corporate Banking's Senior Credit Officers and be responsible for the entire Portfolio Management organization in Corporate Banking. The position will be responsible for overseeing the teams responsible for the initial underwriting and subsequent monitoring of all corporate exposures. This role will also have primary responsibility for ensuring the teams adhere to U.S. Bank's prudent risk standards and maintain the credit quality of Corporate Banking's credit portfolio.


Additional functions will include: coordination with Senior Credit Risk Management and Special Asset Groups; providing guidance to Division Heads and assist with structuring and the review of all complex credit opportunities to drive business growth; and providing mentoring and recruitment guidance to Corporate Banking PM leaders.


Qualifications

• Candidate should demonstrate an understanding of the various industry

specialties within Corporate Banking

• Strong leadership abilities and strategic management skills, including senior

executive interaction with the ability to influence

• Candidate should have at least 15 years or more of banking experience and

approximately 9+ years of management experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• BA/MBA in finance, accounting, or other related disciplines
