Leidos has an opening for a Chief Cloud Architect Engineer at Beavercreek, Ohio.
The Chief Cloud Architect/Engineer will lead the planning, definition, design and integration of cloud services.
Will guide a team of systems and software application engineers in refactoring and migrating applications from data centers to cloud services platforms.
Lead the team in determining and implementing cloud-based and DevOps technology selection, evaluation, policy recommendation and configurations; and provides cloud platform and applications patterns development.
Provide cloud platform and services consultation to Government customers, develops and matures internal corporate cloud and application migration offerings.
Develop and institute deep understanding of business and user requirements, and design and implement solutions accordingly.
Studies industry best practices for cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, Oracle, IBM), technical offerings, and provides deep evaluation of tools and services to provide best-of-breed solutions to Government customers.
Requires deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-family projects, and program teams.
Chief Cloud Architect Engineer will direct activities that have significant impact on the achievement of results for the Cloud Platform and Applications Hosting.
Work requires a high degree of responsibility for resources, and frequently influences organizational or operational decisions made by leadership.
Education and Experience:
Masters with 15 – 20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 – 16 years of prior relevant experience.
Active Secret Clearance required.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Cloud Platform and Infrastructure.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer.
AWS Solutions Architect.
Master-level experience with AWS and Azure Cloud Platforms.
Hands-on experience with DevOps Tools for monitoring, code storage, automation, agile
