Description
South College, a regional leader in Higher Education, continues to experience industry-leading geographic and programmatic growth! This key role of Chief Academic Officer presents a tremendous opportunity for a proven Academic Leader with a keen focus on student success and academic excellence to join our exceptional executive team! Reporting to the Chancellor, the role of Chief Academic Officer oversees all schools and academic programs, faculty affairs, and curricula development across all South College campuses. The CAO works collaboratively with all school leaders and faculty to ensure Student Academic success consistent with the South College's mission and vision. The Chief Academic Officer will be responsible for all Academic Program areas from Associate Level to Doctoral-level programs and will maintain functional accountability over all School Academic Deans.
Requirements
The position requires a Ph.D or other terminal academic degree with 10 years of Dean-level or above leadership experience at a University-level institution offering Graduate programs. Experience in a For-Profit Higher Education institution and significant experience in large Online student environments is preferred.
