Chemical Technical Sales Representative in San Francisco, CA

Our client company is seeking an experienced, dynamic, outside direct sales person with a surface treatment or metalworking, wastewater or metal coatings background to contact established and prospective customers in an assigned territory for the purpose of selling the Company’s Metalworking and Surface Treatment chemicals.

You must be willing to:

• Understand the business activities of accounts in the territory
• Plan a weekly itinerary of calls to allocate time effectively/ensure proper territory coverage
• Provide information on new products/methods/techniques/other general info
• Select process/right material to solve customer cleaning/sanitation/surface treatment problems
• Participate in team selling activities in cooperation with other TSR’s/technical support personnel/application engineers

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY):

• BS degree
• 2+ years Industrial sales experience
• Sales planning/territory management skills
• Ability to overcome customer objections
• High energy/self-starter
