Channel Marketing Manager

This individual is to lead the organization in the planning and execution of marketing programs across all channels in the USA, including LTC, Acute, Distributor/GPO, HHC and Clinics. The goal is to lead profitable and measurable revenue growth (new and organic) as well as customer retention. This role leads the process for developing and executing an Essity value proposition in our chosen sales arenas that is innovative and superior to the competition. This individual can be based at our North America headquarters in Philadelphia, PA or our office in Charlotte, NC.

OVERALL


  • Develop and institute a high performing USA Channel Marketing team
  • Lead the Commercial Excellence activities, and develop and implement compelling value propositions for our chosen sales arenas
  • Manage annual marketing A&P budget
  • Leverage channel and customer insights to deliver meaningful product and promotional activation that yields a strong ROI
  • Support the achievement of Essity HMS NA revenue and profit targets and business goals

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Develop an annual NA marketing communications plan that measurably elevates the HMS brands in awareness, consideration, and preference/loyalty
  • Develop an annual product promotion marketing calendar in partnership with Product Market Managers and Revenue Management teams inclusive of sales forecasts and production demand expectations
  • Identify market trends and leverage competitive insights to lead evolution of 8-Quarter marketing planning
  • Build systematic processes for the successful execution promotional activities inclusive of ROI analyses and KPI measurement and reporting
  • Identify and optimize appropriate key strategic partnerships with industry leaders (trade, professional, complimentary services).
  • Lead the creation of relevant sales collateral materials (product sell sheets, catalogues, pricing guides, etc.)
  • Manage monthly invoices and A&P budgets
  • Jointly with the Sales organization, create and execute channel specific go-to-market plans within a well-defined Business Planning Process
  • Partner successfully with cross-functional teams and consistently cascade information in a timely manner
  • Ensure global brand standards are always executed in all communications (internal and external)
  • Oversees the development of systems and communications strategies designed to deliver differentiating value at the customer level through evidence – based facts and findings through documented means including; research papers, clinical, and case studies
  • Ensures effective communications strategies are established both internally and externally in the promotion of sharing success and inspiring action
  • Leads the marketing channel managers by;
  • Effectively communicated and continuously reinforcing corporate goals and objectives
  • Ensures the marketing channel managers have the necessary marketing skills and that effective and efficient processes are in place
  • Ensures the channel managers have clear performance goals, regular coaching and measurement metrics as per GPS requirements in order to gauge and monitor performance ongoing
  • Facilitates GPS Performance reviews
  • Responsibility to deliver annual marketing budget to department head and finance and contain budget spend
  • Oversees Launch Excellence efforts by the channel and offers strategic support to channel managers in building world class Launch Deliverables and Execution in market
  • Consults ongoing with the Brand Directors on customer-facing communications tools and collateral
  • Ensures the communication of competitive updates and market trends and remains current on healthcare regulations
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure National Sales Meetings are delivered with Excellence

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must reside in and base office out of Charlotte or Philadelphia

EDUCATION:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Technical Marketing skills
  • Commitment to continuous learningEXPERIENCE:
  • 8 plus years in marketing (B2B)
  • Sound Knowledge of the Sales process
  • Ability to quickly garner respect amongst peers (sales, marketing, finance, distribution and operations) and lead in an environment of change at a fast pace
  • Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills and proven track record of motivating and energizing marketing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution, and drive brand awareness and brand integrity
