What You Will Do:

Commercial Engines Operations drives maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) execution for all Commercial Engines programs including Mature Commercial Engines (MCE) and Geared Turbofan (GTF) product lines across 25 MRO facilities globally.

Commercial Engines Operations is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Network Operations Manager (NOM)for Network Operations at Delta Tech-Ops in Atlanta Georgia.

The primary role of the Network Operations Manager is to ensure successful execution of MRO returns to meet customer and business objectives, and to maintain alignment between the DAT (Disassembly, Assembly and Test facility) and Regional support organizations for both the 24K and 30K programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and lead the execution of engine shop visits at the DAT to meet customer requirements and business objectives.

  • Prepare, monitor, and communicate daily progress at the DAT against the near-term delivery commitments and annual plan.

  • Facilitate resolution of issues impacting the DAT9s ability to complete necessary maintenance activities.

  • Facilitate communication between the DAT and customers.

  • Verify and quantify DAT capabilities, capacity, and site growth plans.

  • Ensure DAT compliance with GTF MRO Network policies and contract requirements.

  • Work with the GTF Network cost management team to execute commercial strategy for cost reduction.

  • Develop standard work for interactions between the DAT and PW/IAE.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Advanced degree and 7+ years of experience in Operations, Engineering, Production Control, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Quality, Aerospace or Aftermarket industry; OR Bachelor9s degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Degree in STEM field; Engineering, Supply Chain or Management preferred.

  • Proven ability to lead mentoring, coaching, developing talent and motivate teams to achieve business goals; bargaining unit / union workforce experience a plus.

  • Operations experience in Aftermarket Operations (AMO) or Overhaul and Repair (MRO) areas ideally within Engine Center (DAT).

  • Working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney engine shop practices, quality standards, processes and procedures.

  • Knowledge of AS9100 QMS, DOT/FAA regulations, and 14 CFR Part 145 regulations

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma, QCPC and RCCA).

  • Experience using MS Office Suite, SAP ERP, Solumina MES, Smartsheet, Teamcenter and virtual meeting platforms (i.e. Zoom, MS Teams).

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management, suppliers and customers.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate9s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
