Job Description

Summary:

The Consultant Database Team (CDT) is a centralized center of excellence within the Client Platform Group, responsible for support of the firm’s marketing and sales efforts through the distribution of content on the firm’s strategies and data via consultant databases. . The team partners with the Consultant Relations Team, Sales, investment teams and business support functions to service client’s needs for data and information on the firm’s products.

We are seeking a successful candidate to work within the Consultant Database Team, partnering with the RFP team and Investment teams to write and manage narrative content on fixed income, equity and multi-asset class strategies. The successful candidates should have strong desire to manage projects, foster key relationships, and deliver high quality content.

Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership and manage completion of qualitative focused consultant questionnaires / requests regarding investment products on a quarterly and ad-hoc basis
  • Partner with the Global RFP team to create accurate responses to standard and customized questions
  • Create and maintain a database of common questions across consultant databases with a strong ability to extrapolate pertinent qualitative information and apply accordingly to databases
  • Survey and review product profiles to ensure consistent and accurate responses
  • Coordinate with investment team’s on new product buildouts taking in to account the unique needs of the various consultant databases
  • Ensure detailed understanding of the firm's products and investment processes to facilitate accurate and relevant distribution of information
  • Collaborate with various internal teams on internal projects

equirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in economics, finance or business preferred
  • Up to 5 years of experience at an asset management firm, ideally within an RFP role
  • Previous experience and familiarity navigating consultant databases such as Callan, eVestment, Mercer GIMD and Wilshire a plus
  • Strong investment product knowledge specifically equity, fixed income and alternatives
  • Excellent time-management, planning and organizational skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with proven initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a broader team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to communicate effectively with senior sales professionals, portfolio managers and subject matter experts.
  • Handle multiple concurrent assignments and assume personal responsibility for deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Experience with a database repository such as RocketDocs a plus


Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $85,000-$120,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
