Xator Corporation has an immediate opportunity for a highly-motivated individual to provide chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high-yield explosive (CBRNE) decision support software training. Training support will typically involve classroom-based or virtual instruction in the use and application of atmospheric transport and dispersion models, blast effects models, and GIS tools/applications. Some travel and irregular shifts may be required to meet program needs.
Providing classroom-based and virtual instruction for CBRNE decision support software tools (training materials provided)
Supporting CBRNE Decision Support and Training program at CONUS and OCONUS locations, as needed
Assisting CBRNE Decision Support and Training program lead instructors with training material development and updates, as needed
Participating in CBRNE Decision Support and Training program meetings and workshops
Completing a rigorous certification process that helps cross-train the candidate in multiple aspects of CBRNE analysis and decision support and introduces the candidate to the wide variety of requests fielded by Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Technical Reachback
Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts to provide scientific analyses for planning scenarios, exercises, and real-world events
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience
Experience applying atmospheric transport and dispersion modeling and simulation tools such as Hazard Prediction and Assessment Capability (HPAC), Integrated Weapons of Mass Destruction Toolset (IWMDT), or the Joint Effects Model (JEM)
Prior experience as an instructor with classroom-based teaching and/or training
Experience providing technical or operational support to the Countering of Weapons of Mass Destruction mission
Experience with instructional design
Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance or Top Secret Clearance w/SCI
Graduate of DTRA training on HPAC, IWMDT, or JEM
Valid through: 11/2/2020
