Growing Premier Dining Management Company seeks a Catering Director to lead the catering operations of one of their university accounts. This role will provide the overall leadership of the catering functions of the university including menu and event planning, system management control, ordering and purchasing of supplies as well as training and scheduling appropriate staff. A strong dedication to maintaining quality service and quality food is essential. This role will report to a General Manager and will be based in Tallahassee, FL. Relocation assistance is available.
Successful candidate will have prior catering experience, be a ?hands on? leader and able to adapt positively to fluctuating situations. This role is very relationship driven and the hiring company desires an individual who is passionate about diversity, students/faculty, and the community. Strong organizational and supervisory skills as well as a solid commitment to sanitation and safety are required. Ideal candidate will have prior experienceworking within a high-volume catering department. A degree in food management or related field is preferred.
