Align Technology is transforming the way it does business and connects with its consumer.  One key initiative supporting this effort is our new retail operation.  Our first store was opened in San Francisco in November and we are in the process of opening more.  This is a new category for us and we are looking for a retail operations sourcing lead to develop our sourcing strategy for retail operations, determine staffing requirement for a retail sourcing team and long term requirements.  In addition to developing the long term organizational strategy you will lead sourcing efforts and contract negotiations with suppliers.  You will be required to take limited information from the pilot program and develop a nationwide, complex strategy across multiple retail categories.  You will be coordinating efforts with Facilities, Retail Ops, Finance and Global Supply Chain as well as interacting with senior executives both internally and externally.

Our Indirect Sourcing department is new and building from the ground up.  If you have an entrepreneurial mindset, get excited about building relationships and category strategies from scratch then you will thrive in this environment.  A large portion of this role will consist of identifying opportunities and categories to focus on, developing a plan, and executing against those strategies.
