Administers profit and loss statements for cost centers managed. Determines annual operating and capital budget requirements for all Implementation, Fulfillment and Account Analysis operational processes and staffs.
Exerts positive influences beyond the Cash Management organization. Champions the importance of Implementation Services functions within Bank of the West, successfully generating cross-divisional recognition and support for strategic plans.
Manages the activities of the Implementation, Fulfillment and Account Analysis operations staffs, providing leadership, mentoring and skills development support. Develops and coaches team leads and supervisors as direct reports. Crafts and approves all staff performance evaluations.
Interacts professionally and directly with senior and executive management on escalated service issue resolution, Implementations Services group performance matters and various internal bank managers and peers on support issues and requirements.
Exhibits superior communication and presentation skills. Liaisons with line management on monthly basis to identify issues of concern with Implementations Services performance provide feedback on issue status and resolution and to communicate information on group plans and objectives.
Maintains strong client focus. Evaluates client feedback on Implementation process. Determines and develops actionable plans for strengthening processes to improve performance and client satisfaction. Conducts process reviews and implements new procedures or enhancements to achieve efficiencies

Protects Bank of the West by ensuring compliance with established regulations and sound business practices. Ensures internal processes are sufficient to ensure all proper documentation is on-hand and bank requirements fulfilled prior to activation of bank products and services.
Other Job Duties
Partners closely with Manager, Commercial Product Management on developing implementation and fulfillment processes, set-up procedures and performance SLAs for all newly developed cash management products and services. Provides feedback to product development process to foster improvements in product process design, based on implementation and fulfillment experience.
Ensures proper support and maintenance of the Bank Link operating platform. Interacts with Fund Tech, the Bank Link system vendor, and IT staff to resolve emergent operational issues and customer service problems.
Oversees conversion project efforts related to cash management product conversions for newly acquired customers and account analysis database conversions. Participates in conversion planning and preparations.
Works with Weiland Financial Group, CAA (commercial account analysis) vendor, and Account Analysis Product Management Team on new CAA software enhancements and contractual issues, as required.
Interfaces with third-party cash management service providers in resolving emergent service issues and in fostering joint action on process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Serves as project manager on new initiatives within the Implementation Services functions, as required.
Maintains technical control of Cash Management Customer Information File (CIF) database.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one area.
