Overview:

Blackhawk Network is seeking a Finance Manager, Working Capital & Cash Flow to join our Global Finance organization. This position will play a key role in Cash Flow analysis within the Financial Planning Analysis (FP&A) function.

The focus of this position will be on projecting cash flows and working capital accounts on the balance sheet. A successful candidate will also embrace opportunities to take on new challenges and expand his or her understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis as a whole.

This position will drive a process to establish predictive data and metrics to inform the business on how our receivables, liabilities, future billings, future expenses, and other associated working capital considerations will turn into cash inflows and outflows. In addition to working closely with FP&A leadership, the Cash Flow Manager will partner with our settlements team, procurement team, and expense management team to optimize the control of operational factors that affect working capital. This position requires a motivated candidate looking for a challenging role that requires initiative and an ability to balance competing priorities.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities will include (1) maintaining a balance sheet forecast that is integrated with the outcomes projected in the income statement and the ongoing operations of the business (2) maintaining a cash flow forecast based on projections of trade settlement receivable, payable, and other associated changes in working capital (3) working with stakeholders to enhance their understanding of the impact their activities have on the performance of the business, and (4) the creation of operational performance metrics to support internal management review, and presentation materials for executive and Board of Directors review.


Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA preferred
  • 5-7 years of Finance, Treasury, and cash management (a must) experience
  • Fluent on preparation of GAAP Cash Flow Statement and forecasting; with solid understanding of Balance Sheet and P&L
  • Working capital analytics and modelling
  • Detail oriented and hands-on, with ability to distill key themes to senior management
  • Advanced Excel modelling and data analysis skills
  • Advanced critical thinking and analytical abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with Finance, Accounting, Treasury teams
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
