Position Overview

The role of Campus Marketing Specialist serves as the point of contact between product marketing departments to integrate and initiate on overall content strategy. Work to strengthen relationships both within the business unit and cross-functionally.  Will oversee business unit projects and provide operational support to help the Marcom team run efficiently. This position is in constant communication with internal clients and Marcom staff. Applies marketing principles and professional judgement, within overall direction established by senior management. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with campus business unit product marketers to develop marketing plans and supporting content to ensure alignment between all team members and Marcom.
  • Manage relationships and day-to-day communication with business units to ensure Marcom provides the right information and/or tools to the business units 
  • Ensure information and deliverables are provided to business units in a timely manner
  • Partner with Marcom to provide best practices/innovative solutions and ideas to the business unit
  • Oversee, manage and drive projects and processes; keep meticulous documentation of client requests, project updates, etc
  • Coordinate all aspects of creative production for video, and mobile advertising campaigns
  • Assist in building and executing data-driven programmatic creative campaigns to include writing copy, brainstorming creative and/or developing other material in support of final deliverables
  • Support sales team with discovering and delivering marketing tools, campaigns and other creative
  • Research as needed to meet the evolving needs of our business
  • Assist in troubleshooting and adjusting creatives
  • Assist with market insight and analysis for business units 
  • Helps to strategize and improve our campus marketing program and processes 
  • Complete other marketing related duties, assignments and special projects as requested

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years’ work experience in a marketing, account management, creative role or other related area is required
  • In-depth knowledge of multiplatform strategies that include digital, social, web and mass media campaigns on local, regional and national levels
  • Knowledge of the creative process and general creative workflow
  • Strong knowledge with marketing, advertising and branding principles and practices 
  • Strong project management skills, strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office 365, Hubspot, Adobe inDesign, Photoshop a benefit but not required
  • Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Work professionally with customers and co-workers to efficiently serve our customers, treating both with enthusiasm and respect

Education

Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Communication
