Job Summary:  

The Digital Media Campaign Manager plays a key role in the success of digital media campaigns by managing optimization, inventory and upsell efforts.  Success in this role will be measured by renewal rates and overall satisfaction of our clients, both internal and external. The campaign manager is primarily responsible for supporting sales in managing online advertising campaigns that are approved for the program. Manager will work closely across multiple departments internally to ensure successful digital media campaigns.  



  • Build relationships with clients to provide support and ensure easily executed campaigns
  • Manage and service clients to create solutions across production, billing and quality control
  • Gather and understand new and existing client’s digital marketing goals
  • Track, measure and analyze performance of multiple advertising campaigns, including creating detailed performance reports and proposing optimization strategies based on client’s advertising expectations
  • Work closely with client to ensure creative deadlines are met and collect material from assigned accounts as needed
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot ad campaigns, resolving any issues
  • Ensure all advertising campaigns are on time and error-free
  • Oversee day-to-day monitoring of campaign performance and conduct performance analysis on a regular basis
  • Partner with sales reps and clients to increase renewal rates and advertising spend
  • Provide excellent customer service through quick response times and meeting customer expectations
  • Collaborate closely with Publishers to establish annual goals for renewals and upsell closings
  • Perform regular analysis of inventory and creative assets
  • Develop, collaborate, create and distribute standard brand reporting
  • Act as liaison between sales reps and PennWell service groups, including production and accounting
  • Provide a base level of technical expertise as it relates to digital media creative and 3rd party tags
  • Communicate daily with the Sales Managers, Product Management, Production and Senior Management with regard to campaign status and execution
  • Mentor and coach Campaign Coordinators within the revenue operations group
  • Collaborate with sales reps preparing quotes (RFPs) and insertion orders
  • Recommend process changes as needed to ensure continued revenue growth; implement as appropriate


Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of customer service experience working directly with customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Strong knowledge of web-based advertising solutions, including webinars, podcasts, web banners and otherinternet related concepts
  • General web knowledge and HTML
  • Understanding of digital media advertising campaign metrics
  • Experience in technologies used to support online and/or mobile advertising operations
  • Well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Display self motivation and initiative
  • Deliver high quality work while at the same time meeting all deadlines for both internal and external customers
  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems across the organization


Non-Essential Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with mobile ad serving is a plus
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
