Required Technical Skill Set      

 

Direct marketing /campaign design and management

*SME – Subject matter expert – Technical expert who will be able to explain exact nature of requirement to the recruitment team. Preferably they should be the Technical panelist.

 

Key skills and experience

•            Experience in working within a marketing/business intelligence environment

•            High level of experienceworking with analytical software (e.g. Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, Core metrics, etc.)

•            High level of experience in data analysis techniques and advanced Excel

•            Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing client reports and presentations

•            Experience in identifying and validating strategic and tactical marketing objectives

•            High level of experience in measuring and analyzing online marketingcampaigns including: natural and paid search, email, affiliate, display and social

•            Experience in working with website optimization tools for A/B and multivariate testing, e.g. Google Website Optimizer, Visual Website Optimizer, Optimizely, Maxymiser, etc

 

Desired Competencies

(Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have        

1.           Experiencewith Campaign management platforms (e.g. IBM Unica Campaign, Adobe Target, Eloqua, ExactTarget)

2.           Strong Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, including excel pivot tables and formula writing. VB Script skill will be a plus

3.           Working withdatabases using SQL or other tools such as TOAD, SAS or Hyperion Brio.

Good-to-Have 

1.           Experience in Healthcare domain

 

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

•            Campaign Execution

o            To develop and execute campaign design for GEHC’s direct marketingcampaigns.

o            Work closelywith Marketing strategy and communication teams to structure and execute the sequence of events leading to a successful campaign launch

o            Document list specifications in appropriate technical language,define list selection schedules,specify output formats,

o            Oversee the delivery of extracts (DM, Email, Statement Messaging, Interactive messaging, Live Channel) to channel.

o            Supportother Campaign Managers by validating their code within the campaign management tool

o            Monitor execution of automated triggers

o            Act as subject matter expert on marketingdatabase and informational environment

•            Perform Reliability studies

 

Key expectations

•            Defining and implementing measurement strategies that align with client marketing and business objectives;

•            Producing meaningful marketing KPI dashboards and delivering monthly, crosschannel performance reports with actionable insights

•            The role will also involve conducting conversion optimization consultancies, with the aim of improving efficiency in clients’ digitalmarketing strategies and increasing ROI.

•            The successful candidate will not necessarily come from a pure web analytics background but an excellent, in-depth level of knowledge in digitalmarketing, along withexperience in strategic and analytical management of digitalcampaigns

 

Main responsibilities

1.           Campaign strategy

o            Identifying client objectives and advising on suitable measurement strategies

o            Benchmarking performance across all online channels and advising on KPIs

o            Using methodical performance analysis to influence/supportcampaign strategies

2.           Reporting and Analysis

o            Developing custom marketing dashboard concepts for client reporting via Excel

o            Reporting on key metrics, analyzing and interpreting trends and providing actionable insights based on available data

o            Analyzing the effect of different online and offline channels on each other and developing and implementing innovative strategies for improvement and growth

o            Analyzing online user behavior, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution

o            Performing ROI analysis to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of different marketingcampaigns

o            Performing ad-hoc analytics and conversion optimization consultancies for clients and influencing conversion optimization strategies with solid analytical data

3.           Client focus

o            Delivering regular reporting and analysis documentation to clients and presenting findings or test results

o            Assisting in educating clients on the benefits of digitalmarketing and the importance of online measurement & performance optimization

4.           Analytical and technical

o            Providing consultancy on campaign tagging and additional on-site tracking

o            Spotting potential to implement innovative new methodologies and improve analytical procedure

o            Using available data sources to deep dive and troubleshoot campaign (and overall) performance issues and propose methodical optimization tests, both on-site and campaign based

5.           Communication

o            Working closelywith the commercial team to identify and explore opportunities to cross-sell services and support new client acquisition

o            Collaborating with the design and development teams for on and off-site conversion optimization projects

o            Collaborating with the search and social teams to enhance client reporting and performance measurement and conduct detailed analysis work when required
