We are looking for CA Service Desk Manager Administrator for our client in Quincy, MA

Job Title: CA Service Desk Manager Administrator

Job Location: Quincy, MA

Job Type: Contract ? 12 Months / Contract to Hire / Direct Hire

Job Description:

  • Administrator requires an understanding of the IT governance process, including incident, problem, change and asset management.
  • Development skills include scriptinglanguage knowledge, CA proprietary tools such as web screen painter and schema developer and data loader tools.
  • Understanding the CA MBD structure and relational dependencies is critical.

Skillset and Tools needed to be successful in this role:

Design and data modifications:

  • Web modifications (proprietary CA web screen painter, HTML, CA database schema knowledge)
  • Database modifications (Oracle SQLplus, basic Oracle schema knowledge, proprietary CA data tools)

Reporting (CA database schema, Jasper Reporting, various database tools for data extraction and reporting including MS Access, MS Excel, ODBC connection):

  • Key Performance Indicators (KIP?s)
  • Ageing reports
  • Inventoryreporting

Data Maintenance (CA database schema knowledge, proprietary CA data tools, various database tools for data extraction from Oracle and MS-SQL databases):

  • Contact input
  • HR/CMS
  • LDAP/AD
  • Client supplied information
  • Asset Input
  • xAssets (discovery tool)
  • SolarWinds
  • Verizon
  • Client Supplied information

Application technical support (Communication skills and thorough knowledge of the application):

  • Trouble shooting
  • Training

Application Security (Internal) (Understanding of the role based security and data partitioning):

  • Role and data access
