Job Title: C++ Developer

50% - Create and execute designs of new functionality as part of a software project for Clients Biometrics products and write functional and design specifications including code reviews and writing, configuration, and debuggers in the software development process. Play a key role in development team of functional specifications based on requirements input from the product team and translate those specifications into high-level designs.10% - Develop unit test code and Biometrics software and applications for developments.
10% - Develop and maintain components, frameworks, and libraries to promote code reuse, software scalability, performance, etc.
10% - Develop and maintain Biometrics application features, including design, coding, unit testing, documentation, and code review.
10% - Provide input to team members to help resolve questions of Biometrics program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
10% - Other tasks:
Lead and contribute to team discussions including design sessions, code reviews, etc.
Perform performance optimization and testing.
Assist with software release or build management.
Help test team in setting up test beds, resolving build issues, etc.
Mentor and provide on-the-job training to new and more junior co-workers.
Education: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational mathematics, Physics, Electrical, Electronics, or related field in science or relevant work experience. Experience: Must have at least 8 years in software development with hardcore programming in C++11, C++14 and C++17 Computer and/or Technical Skills: Good understanding of design patterns, dependency injection, multithreading, Linux interprocess communication, C++ memory model, image processing, familiarity with programming on Windows, experience with image processing using OpenCV Tools: Familiarity with cmake and visual studio, git, gdb, docker Reasoning skills: Very good logical reasoning and critical thinking and problem solving skills
