Door Services is a rapidly growing and changing organization. The buyer/planner will purchase for multiple sites throughout the U.S. and Canada. The candidate must be able to adapt to a changing environment, new technology, and shifting priorities. The candidate must have strong supply manager skills, good organizational skills, and professionalism.


· Purchase materials for new installs and service repairs

· Find competitive pricing opportunities and negotiate with suppliers for long-term agreements

· Maintain Key Performance Indicators for purchasing

· Work with suppliers to help them achieve better performance

· Find new suppliers to increase price competition, quality, and performance

· Work with 3PL and freight carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods

· Assist in resolving invoice issues throughout the organization

· Assist in the flow of materials throughout the supply chain

· Improve efficiencies and communication with our many sites


· Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain and 2+ years purchasing/supply chain experience. In lieu of a degree, candidate must have minimum 6 years purchasing/supply chain experience

· Must be able to work in a constantly changing and growing environment

· Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Excel

· Must have ERP experience (Oracle preferred)

· APICS or CPSM certifications preferred

· Must have strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others

· Must be proactive in solving problems and strive for continuous process improvement.
