Position Purpose: Design, build, test and maintain enablers of business processes, including technology and process solutions with a focus on medium complexity, multiple application business processes and/or business relationships.
- Contribute to the entire implementation process
- Drive definition of improvements based on business needs and architectural improvements
- Responsible for build, test, root cause analysis, and complex performance tuning
- Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives
- May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Write manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 2+ years of related experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications. Experience with creating documentation, data/process analysis, and requirements gathering for IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and corresponding toolsets and functions (e.g. Incident, Problem, Config, Change, Service Level Management, Event Mgmt., Service Desk, Asset Mgmt, Service Catalog). Familiarity with IT processes and disciplines (e.g. software development, operations, infrastructure). Experience with Business Process Modeling tools or concepts preferred. Ability to train others on basic concepts. Basic level of creativity and latitude is required. Design, build & test multiple functionality points, complex solutions.
Understanding of ITIL processes with an emphasis on Configuration Management / CMDB
Hands on experience with ServiceNow including but not limited to adding and updating Configuration Items.
Good business and data analytical skills.
Reporting and auditing in ServiceNow.
Any experience with Discovery, Service Mapping and Data importing.
Familiar with Hardware/software asset tools.
Prefer experience with ServiceNow CMDB Physical and Logical Data model including Class Hierarchy, Identification and reconciliation.
Scripting skills would be a big plus.
