Reporting directly to the VP of Operations for our Service Desk division, the Business Systems Analyst  III role primarily analyzes opportunities and finds ways to help decipher and translate the data for business implementation.  This role is very strategic and more about the how and why of tools and systems rather than building and configuring. Our Business Systems Analyst play a critical role and are expected to bridge gaps of communication using technical knowledge and interpersonal savvy. This role will sit in our brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Fort Mill, SC. 


?         Translate new ideas and concepts from the business teams and work with the technology teams in order to insure they understand the goal

?         Estimate the duration of design & development tasks

?         Review designs for technology and products and quickly decipher it for the business

?         Contribute to built testing for technology, especially new products

?         Test new designs and provide feedback that will improve the system

?         Provide reporting analysis and creating Excel reports from data analysis

?         Ability to translate technology discussions into diagrams, matrix, and lists is critical to the role. Extensive skills in administration, development, and configuration are not required



?        3+years of related work experience, Bachelordegree, technical training or equivalent combination of experience and training on software development and scripts, JavaScript, JSP, AJAX, jQuery, CSS, & XHTML , APIs

?         Understanding how to build business requirements, build UAT scripts, and thoroughly test new processes and tools

?         Ability to understanding theory of how different systems interact

?         Knowledge of APIs  and their integration uses is a plus

?        Understanding programming logic (not necessarily knowing how to program), as well as basic knowledge of SQL queries

?         Basic understanding of XML and SQL, and willing to expand that knowledge

?         Technical skills such as Web Services Administrator are not required.  Role may require managing apps from a web utility or application, but not managing IIS configuration

?         Understanding of basic networking and IT connections, with aptitude for learning more

?         Basic to advanced understanding of Change Management is a plus

?         Basic understanding of ITIL processes is a plus

?         Some background in Call Center / Service Desk operations preferred yet not required
