Overview:

This position focuses on the setup of internal acquired companies in our transactional rating system to ensure the automation and accuracy of reporting, invoicing, and payments for each client program. The analyst will assist in research and problem-solving for settlement inaccuracies or new program explorations. Be part of developing new programing to provide further flexibility or automation of rating system to better serve our partner needs. Provide training and guidance to other departments and partners on the abilities or navigation of our transactions rating system.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up contract and settlement information for internal acquired companies, in addition to International and domestic partners in our transactional rating settlement systems; includes appropriate hierarchy designation for master data, facilitating accounting rule and settlement systems, and accurately inputting key contract terms such as commissions, payment terms, and settlement frequency.
  • Liaison to various Settlement, Accounting, IT, and new business teams to ensure accurate and efficient set up; meet service level agreements defined by Settlement.
  • Lead continual process improvement efforts to reduce partner setup time, improve communication with cross functional teams and enhance analytical capabilities data based analytics.
  • Research and develop improvements for system setups to improve settlement flexibility and reduce transaction failure.
  • Setup or be part of meeting with partners and/or other departments to provide insight on system capabilities; help problem-solve solutions that will be most beneficial to the partner’s needs.
  • Assist in training new team members or other department employees on navigating through the system setups, research, and ticking processes; help provide ad-hoc reporting through Aqua Data and provide setup/training to employees to continue self-reliant reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years experience in accounting, settlement, financial services, or related industry
  • Minimum 4 year experience performing data analysis; must enjoy working with data
  • Consistently patient, diplomatic and collaborative working with cross functional teams demonstrating strong teamwork and customer service skills
  • Expert efficiency in developing and improving financial, accounting and/or transaction processing processes
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; can communicate effectively in writing or verbally with technical and non-technical team members
  • Superior organization skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced competency in Excel, SQL query writing, Access Database
  • Aptitude to work independently and resourcefully without supervision under rigid time constraints
  • Enjoys a fast-paced learning environment and has an ability to understand processes end to end
  • Efficient with interpretation of contract/legal documentation.
