Works closely with HSB's internal and external clients to understand and communicate business requirements necessary to integrate client data into HSB systems. Understand the data and business requirements for each of HSB’s products, processes, and systems and communicate those needs to internal and external client's business and IT staff. Participate in solution design and architecture. Works with the HSB dev team to ensure smooth transition of data, from first test file thru full implementation.
Bachelors Degree in Business or IT and/or equivalent work experience
3+ yrs. experience in data intake or analysis; Working knowledge of insurance company and agency operations, business processing systems, workflow documentation, and reporting
Strong Excel skills. Understanding of FTP protocols and encryption
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Solid organization and time management skills; team player
Strong interpersonal/team building skills, problem solving/analytical skills.
5% travel may be required.
Insurance business acumen, Underwriting knowledge, insurance based systems knowledge
CIC or CPCU
Strong SQL Query for data analysis
Ability to design data intake solutions;
WebServices; APLs; XML
Process improvement experience
Excellent memory and attention to detail
