Responsible for development and overall support of the Global PPM Tool.

Ensures the project and portfolio management (PPM) system is developed, implemented, updated and maintained for a diverse set of users located across the globe.

Supports the various needs of the Enterprise for all PPM related activities.

Act as the system expert, develops and configures solutions, creates and runs reports, and provides guidance and support to all system users for current and custom functionality.

Plans, coordinates, tests and implements complex solutions and enhancements.

Develops and modifies complex reports, metrics and dashboards for management.

Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to complex PPM processes, procedures and services.

Troubleshoots complex customer and system issues including, but not limited to, error messages, login difficulties, access denials, interface errors, data issues and process failures.

Experience managing application support activities.

Manages PPM data maintenance processes, including mass updates to users and /or related data, as well as detailed report request.

User license provisioning, system settings review, end-user documentation and system configuration (workflows, validation rules, custom fields, etc.) based on internal product decisions

Escalate issues to Clarizen (vendor) support team and own the interaction with them on support tickets.

Provide tier 2 Clarizen support to client engagement teams, client users and internal Global project teams through the Clarizen

Support mailbox for assistance requests, support, general product questions; provide training and demos as needed

Work with users and be able to pull out important requirements and understand request from users


Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience required. Advanced degree desired but not required.

3-5 years project management experience.

7+ years of professional work experience.

Requires a minimum of three years progressive PPM technical experience

Proven understanding of Project, Program and/or Portfolio Management.

Demonstrated knowledge of multiple software development life cycle methodologies {Waterfall, Agile}

Advanced level computer experience, including skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, SharePoint.

Programming language proficiency in SQL, HTML and creating Workflows.

Excellent working knowledge of any one project management software (Clarizen, Daptiv, Basecamp, MS Project, etc.).

Confident to say no when expectations are unrealistic and assist in setting realistic expectations

PPM tool experience is highly desired.
