Your responsibilities and tasks:

  • Finance Analyst for a $300M Mechanical Equipment Product group
  • Serve as sparring partner with sales leaders to develop strategy and help drive sales, cash flow and profit growth
  • Coordination with ME product group accountants and financial analysts
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
  • Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools
  • Consolidation of quarterly/monthly Financial reporting and ensure timely and accurate financial statements
  • Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies
  • Develop financial models and analyses to supportstrategic initiatives
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
  • Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team

  • 5+ years of progressive responsibility in financial analysis. Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to execute complex analysis, prepare comprehensive, clear, concise and action-oriented reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, demonstrating a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial analysis principles (IFRS knowledge a significant plus)
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/Financial Systems & Applications
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills required
    • SAP experience needed
    • ERP implementation or conversion experience a plus
    • Access or other multi-dimensional analysis experience (able to build a relational database and queries) a plus
  • Strong data analysis experience, demonstrating the ability to understand business needs, obtain & validate data, interpret results, root cause anomalies and generate meaningful results
  • Manufacturing experience needed
  • Finance or accounting professional certification, such as a CPA is a plus
  • Solid time/project management skills and demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direction/supervision
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel Required: Minimum (5%)
