Develop and manage project schedule tasks and milestones for new projects.
Drive and contribute to delivery of project schedules and milestones for existing projects and programs under EPMO management.
Lead meetings with decision makers, business process owners, business solutions resources, and end users to define functional requirements for new initiatives and to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Manage business process mapping and functional design sessions for the purpose of enhancing business operations and information flow.
Review and analyze the effectiveness of existing processes and develops strategies for improving or further leveraging other processes and/or technologies.
Identify and assess options for the implementation of new or improved business processes.
Lead resources on defining functional and possible technical needs, prioritizing those needs and providing recommendations to support those needs.
Manage communication strategies among all business areas to facilitate knowledgeable decision making for business solutions.
Establish regular reporting of progress on initiatives, including weekly status reporting to key stakeholders and management.
Lead and manage business process assessment activities, identify any possible enterprise wide cross dependencies on other business areas, and recommends efficient and effect cost-saving solutions.
Conduct analysis and deliver recommendations or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas and/or gaps.
Proactively partner with business areas to provide guidance on understanding, drafting, and adhering to Service Level Agreements for identified business process improvements.
Establish process to track quality and ensure escalations of issues to EPMO Manager(s)/Director.
Collaborate with all business solutions resources, other business area resources, Executive Management, and functional support areas to provide recommendations on the best solutions based on assessed functional and technical needs.
Provide oversight and guidance to project team members and other support resources to insure all business and enterprise objectives are being met.
Support division and department objectives as communicated by management team.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
4+ years’ of experience program/project management experience; 2+ years’ experience as a functional business process lead or business solutions lead focused on enterprise-wide solutions; Prior experience implementing business solutions for a subscription management oriented business; prior experience working with integrated project teams that include external vendor resources; proven comprehensive knowledge of Project Management Principles, Process, and Methodologies, including creating and maintaining project schedules and utilization of project management tools; good analytical, problem solving skills with the ability to recognize significant details; knowledge and experience with the full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including understanding of a variety of technologies and platforms; ability to multitask while working independently or on a team with shifting priorities and deadlines; excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to interact with all levels of employees and customers throughout the organization; experience collaborating with multiple team resources to identifying effective and efficient solutions to business and enterprise challenges; good relationship building, influence and negotiation skills with both technical and business resources; experience working with customers in a variety of roles/levels from junior developers to executives. Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
