Position Description

The Business Solutions Lead drives the delivery of timely, relevant and value-added business solutions across the entire organization.  To do this, the Business Solutions Lead manages a team of approximately 10-12 Business Solutions Analysts and coordinate with Developers through business requirements gathering, agile build, and ongoing support of innovative solutions. A key to success is the ability to maximize the capabilities of cloud based Business Application on a Salesforce platform and legacy Applications ecosystems, and on occasion enhancing them through custom development.

  Key Responsibilities

Plans, coordinates, supervises activities related to the design, development, implementation of Salesforce and other legacy solutions. Manages analysts and programmers supporting different products or lines of businesses. Develops, distributes, supports, enforces, and integrates best practices and technology standards across the organization.

 

  • Strong technical background and knowledge of the Salesforce or other business application platforms

  • Ability to interface with internal and external customers at the executive level

  • Able to align with stakeholders and build a prioritized product roadmap

  • Experience working with an enterprise Salesforce solution

  • Influence and foster collaborative relationships; lead and engage resources outside of direct control to gain consensus, meet deadlines and achieve objectives

  • Develop, manage and execute project work plans and revise, as appropriate, to meet changing needs and requirements to ascertain and mitigate project delays

  • Identify, manage and mitigate day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope of CRM and/or Innovation team projects; assign individual responsibilities according to the project plan

  • Review deliverables and status reports of team members; provide recommendations and address issues as appropriate

  • Effectively apply best practices and methodologies; enforce project standards according to Salesforce best practices

  • Lead project and engagement reviews as well as other business reviews and updates

  • Ensure quality assurance, data governance, and standard procedures are adhered to

  • Knowledge of software development (SDLC), such as Salesforce (Sales, Service Cloud)

Qualifications

 



Minimum Requirements
8+ years experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions using information technology. Proven, significant experience in business analysis, requirements definition and deployment of business requirements to information systems.

Critical Skills

  • 2+ years direct supervision and management experience.

  • 2+ years strong project leadership gained from providing work direction to Software Developers or Systems Analysts.

  • 5+ years current knowledge and experience with CRM solutions, such as Salesforce (SFDC), or other cloud based applications

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Agile Best Practices / Scrum methodologies

  • 5+ years experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an Agile environment

     

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Prior experience working in Healthcare with Patient Assistance programs, is a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce (SFDC)

  Certifications/Licensure

  • Salesforce Administration Certification – highly desired

  • Salesforce Developer Certification – highly desired

  Education

  • 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.  Master’s in business or engineering is a plus.

  Physical Requirements (Lifting, standing, etc.) – Normal office environment requirements
