Job Description:

Functions as one of the primary client-facing practice management resources for clients of Russell Investments' North America Advisor and Intermediary Solutions business and is an authority on building efficient, profitable, best-in-class wealth management firms.

Successful candidates will shape and represent the Russell Investments Business Solutions brand by:

  • Developing and delivering content to assist in coaching Advisors in the implementation of our proprietary programs across North America
  • Understanding strategic analysis of client book information to create appropriate client and program-level guidance on firm efficiency, team member role alignments, profitability and enterprise valuation, among other relevant challenges growing advisors face
  • Acting as industry expert in communicating Russell Investments comparative advantages in practice management

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:


  • Deliver the full suite of Russell Investments Business Solutions Advisor Coaching programs and tailored advice to wealth managers across North America
  • Support advisors' implementation and execution with systematic coaching and follow-up
  • Deliver lead-generation speeches at conferences hosted by Russel Investments, distribution partners and influential industry groups
  • Create new content (modules, tools, presentations) reflecting forward-thinking on ensemble on ensemble teams and organizational structure.
  • Support field delivery of practice management content via joint travel and training of the sales team

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:


  • MBA, CFP CLU, ChFC, CFA or equivalent certifications
  • Series 7, 66/63 licenses
  • 5+ years of demonstrated track record including a strong and referenceable base of advisor advocates, including ability to hold clients to agreed-upon actions and develop strategies to overcome both common/uncommon barriers to execution
  • Minimum 10 years direct industry experience including in-depth knowledge of asset management and wealth management industry, especially its regulatory standards;
  • Conversant in trends in wealth management, including ability to work in multiple markets (principally USA and Canada) and advisory segments (RIA/Brokerage/Insurance/Banking/Family Office). Strong preference given to candidates able to work in multiple geographies
  • 10+ years of fundamental understanding of effective business management and consulting strategies for wealth managers/investment advisors. Understanding of complex organizational challenges and ability to recommend effective solutions
  • Understanding of Russell Investments' investment solutions and possible integration within proprietary Business Solutions programs
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (both group and one-on-one)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, outstanding follow-through, contributing team-player
  • Self-directed with ability to manage travel, speaking engagements, client contact, tasks and projects
  • Consistently demonstrates superior character, reliability and candor
