The Functional Pre-Sales Business Solution Architect (BSA) for ERP is responsible for supporting efforts to drive revenue through development and expansion of customer opportunities. BSA’s develop and execute sales strategies with the Business Development teams, drive proposal efforts, shape the solution scope and provide demonstrations of the Dynamics ERP to prospective clients. A deep understanding of markets, industries, business, clients and technology primarily within Service Industries market is required. Proven record of delivering business value at an executive level and a trusted voice at the decision-making table.
Scope of Responsibility:
Learn our client's business, their organization, systems, challenges and goals as primary functional contact on any client engagements
Provide business analysis – lead workshops and requirements discovery sessions at prospect facilities
Create and deliver prospect specific solution demonstrations of ERP and supporting software (relevant ISV Service Industry Solutions) to various levels of participants from C-level to end-users
Deal estimation and/or delivering complex solutions for client organizations with heavy client interaction and ownership for the technical/functional approach and estimation of a proposal during the sales process
Deliver quality written and oral presentations
Support and drive business development through all stages of deal pursuit
Participate in and lead stakeholder brainstorming, technical/functional planning and design sessions
Provide fit assessment against RFP and RFI requirement grids
Assist in developing and executing solution development selling strategies
Knowledge transfer with project delivery team
Consults, advising our clients and internal stakeholders on the best uses of technology to solve problems
5+ years professional experience as a Consultant or Sales Support
- 5+ years product experience (Dynamics AX, Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations) with a minimum of one full lifecycle ERP implementation leading a workstream
- Strong expertise in functional areas such as Financials, Projects, Manufacturing and Distribution
- Experience as a Consultant, working with external clients & mentoring/managing others
- You are the ultimate diplomat with demonstrated leadership abilities
- You are personable, enthusiastic, a strong communicator and detail-oriented
- You have shown you can rise to the challenge, think on your feet and problem solve
- You have the ability to work in high pressure situations with demanding clients under tight timelines while keeping your cool
- You are flexible with travel
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Sales or Marketing strongly preferred.
