In this role, as part of the worldwide portfolio team, you will be responsible for the development and leadership of the HPE Pointnext Multi Cloud OS program. Working with customers, external partners, industry analysts and the HPE Geo teams at the global, country, and region levels, you will develop and execute the overall strategy and tactics to win.

Your focus will be on developing new compelling OS customer value in multi cloud environments, targeting large enterprise through mid-market customers deploying private, public and hybrid cloud solutions.

This new OS value will enable HPE Pointnext order, revenue, and margin growth while also creating pull through of other HPE products and services. The role will involve collaborating closely with multiple teams including OS globally, Advisory and Professional Services, Hybrid Cloud Services, and many other functional teams.

In this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of customer needs in the Cloud segment and be able to develop the OS strategy and services to win in this segment.

Services developed will be sold through multiple routes to market including direct, channel and via System Integrators (SIs). This will involve working closely with the Worldwide HPE Pointnext Category Management leads, Channel organization and Alliances group.

Your work will involve some travel and working with multiple teams from around the world, including Operational Services, Advisory and Professional Services, HPE Product Organizations and all sales channels.

Position is expected to include 10% global travel but may vary depending on the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

As the Business Service Manager for Multi-Cloud Services Development, you will:

  • represent and lead the OS Multi Cloud portfolio for HPE Pointnext
  • develop the OS portfolio of value and intellectual property (IP) that aligns to the customer and market needs to leapfrog the competition and drive growth
  • work across diverse functional and geographically-dispersed teams to develop and execute the strategy
  • develop the necessary governance structure to effectively manage the business segment
  • provide input and recommendations to leadership on the state of the market and business performance
  • provide mentoring and guidance to peers and other HPE and Channel employees
  • work with marketing, pursuit, and sales to drive confidence in positioning and selling new value
  • work with delivery to ensure skills are in place to deploy a compelling customer experience
  • be the face of the service at trade shows, analyst meetings, and customer events
  • work with Category Management in generating demand and building pipeline for the product/service
  • support Account teams on strategic opportunities as needed to improve win probability
  • perform other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required

  • 12+ years’ experience in enterprise IT service delivery
  • 3+ years’ experience in enterprise Cloud technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree; technical discipline preferred, or compensating experience (see below)
  • Advanced degreepreferred
  • Without a Bachelor’s (or higher level) degree, an additional 2 years’ relevant experience, for a total of 14+ years

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Deep experience in one of the related disciplines of Cloud (private, public, hybrid) in a marketing, sales, pursuit or delivery business planning role
  • A deep understanding of the Cloud market and customer needs with a strong point of view on how HPE OS can win, and drive profitable growth and customer satisfaction
  • Advanced experience in several of the related disciplines of delivery, solution architecting or business planning prior to taking business management role
  • A proven track record in driving a services or product program
  • Experience working with senior management
  • Proven program and project management skills working across multiple diverse teams
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and handle unique situations to accomplish goals
  • Influencing, negotiating skills, and a strong communicator
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
