Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as, but not limited to, Business Administration, Engineering, Process Improvement disciplines, Information Technology, or Medical Administration plus 5 to 7 years of broad business process management and improvement experience is required. PMP certification is preferred. Experience must demonstrate the following skills and abilities: Project management methods and tools in support of managing Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Communication, Risk, and Procurement Management; facilitation skills; planning and organizing skills; including resource coordination; strong team orientation; communication skills; strategic business acumen / business orientation; influencing skills; relationship building skills/strong partner focus; organization diagnosis, design and change management skills (includes diagnostic information gathering); problem solving and flexible, innovative problem resolution; strong oral and written communication skills; technology / computer proficiency such as Blueworks Live, project management software, and awareness of workflow management tools (such as IBM BPMS) are a strong preference.
Provides strategic and tactical business process management expertise and ensures effective delivery of services to Executive Process Owners, Operational Process Owners, and front line staff serving in the capacity of an embedded business partner. Provides process improvement leadership and change management utilizing BPM principles including Design for Optimization, Lean, Six Sigma, and project management principles. Collaborates with assigned process owners, business unit(s), other support services and/or product group(s) to identify and recommend process change opportunities in support of business objectives and goals. Facilitates efforts to prioritize and align investments in process improvement and design, enabling technology to drive strategies and achieve targeted performance returns on these investments. Partners with process owners, business units and senior leaders to assure that processes are properly documented, optimized, are in compliance with appropriate laws and regulations, then updated regularly. Serves as a performance management consultant to ensure the areas supported are utilizing operational metrics and key process indicators as a means to monitor and control process performance
