We are looking for a highly skilled Sales and Marketing Business Process Data Trustee to join our team in Elkton, MD. Consideration will be given to Mid Atlantic candidates interested in working remotely with an expectation of increased travel as required.

Gore has launched a Business Process and Data Management group to establish and implement a harmonized set of process and data management practices. This role is designed to support the Enterprise Sales and Marketing strategy by improving the efficiency and effectiveness in how we market and sell to our customers.

In this role, you will focus on managing business processes related to Marketing and the data created or transformed through them. There will be a specific focus in this role on digital marketing practices. You will act as the liaison between those performing the processes, and those who are responsible for configuring IT applications and managing the data. You will ensure that the business process requirements are met through the use of Governance, Modelling and Design, and Performance Monitoring and Improvement efforts. In this role, you will ensure the consistent use of business process terminology, that the processes appropriately align with industry standard best practices, and that business processes are presented with enough context to inform both solution architects and business associates. In collaboration with solution architects and integration developers, you will help define how business processes flow through multiple IT systems to support data and information needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and leverage external view of sales and marketing processes
  • Partner with:
    • Enterprise Data Management and Business Process support teams to ensure business process and data needs are identified, planned and met
    • Information Technology and Software Quality Assurance teams to work within ITSM processes, and manage requirements for upgrade cycles and deployment
  • Develop and maintain:
    • Data policies, processes, and standards
    • Structures for data security
  • Support the:
    • Evolution of marketing automation / MarTech
    • Creation and maintenance of the process and data models for the project
  • Accountable for:
    • Data quality, associated metrics, and ensuring compliance to policies and standards
    • Data classification
    • Definitions and maintenance of glossary terms
  • Define non-functional requirements for processes and data
  • Participate on Data Domain Governance Team
  • Consult with Data Champion and Stewards on business initiative data needs and issues
  • Lead and develop other team members

Qualifications

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years' of experience in Marketing/Digital Marketing for B2B and B2C
  • Recent demonstrated experience designing campaigns using CRM and Marketing Automation tools
  • Prior experience:
    • Executing governance processes to make decisions, identify risks, and drive issues to resolution
    • Mapping business workflows
    • Analyzing data and using marketing metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • Influence broadly and to work through ambiguity
    • Work effectively with diverse groups of associates
    • Identify and drive opportunities for continual improvement
    • Understand varied audiences and craft appropriate oral and written communication
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Aptitude for performing detail-oriented work

Desired Job Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with:
    • Process improvement, mapping, modelling, or related responsibility
    • Design and implementation of CRM, ERP, or other sales related IT systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of:
    • Business process classification frameworks, theories, principles, and practices
    • Visio or ARIS
    • ERP systems
