Business Operations Senior Analyst (Demand Forecasting)

Working within a monthly S&OP cadence, this analyst will effectively interlock with Sales, Marketing, and Operations in forecasting and managing demand with an 18-24 month horizon:
New product planning/introduction (ensure design for manufacturing, effective initial quantity at launch, etc) Post launch ramp up and product transitions (minimize obsolescence inventory while maintain high service levels and profitability) Product performance (sales, quality, market share, gross margin, price elasticity) Product consolidation (SKU rationalization) Marketing/promotional impact assessment
In addition, this role participates in the annual AOP process for product planning with a broader set of teams.
Finally, this person works on special “tiger team” projects to help manage inventory levels as assigned. This includes situations where we have shortages or overages, but also
•Bachelor’s degree in a Business discipline, MBA a plus.
•5 years experience as product-based business manager working with sales and operations in regards to inventory and business activities to manage it.
•Demonstrated experience Oracle experience a plus.
•Demonstrated experience leading efforts in a technology organization that spans multiple global locations.
•Demonstrated project management experience, PMP certification a plus.
•Demonstrated experience using spreadsheets and other enterprise tools. Oracle a plus.
•Excellent written and oral communication / presentation skills.
•Experience in the Unified Communications field is a plus.
