Direct functions and activities of Operations, Compliance, HR, and Finance staff to supportUnderwriters, Field Leadership, Planners, Brokers, Claims, and related staff working on Disability, Accidental Death, Bodily Injury and similar risk coverage products.
*** Implement local and national initiatives to improve efficiency.
*** Manage service levels.
*** Troubleshoot and resolve identified operational issues.
*** Manage compliance orientation training.
*** Maintain and verify accuracy of compliance records, including SEC mandated books, disciplinary records, and sales materials.
*** Review incoming and outgoing client and prospect correspondence to resolve non-compliance issues and ensure review and signoff on customer order tickets and business blotters.
*** Conduct preliminary reviews of representative advertisements and sales literature.
*** Directly supervise 1 to 3 operations employees, assuming responsibility for their overall direction, coordination, and evaluation.
*** Support interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
