The Department of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent financial and program development skills to work in a multidisciplinary environment to implement new business/clinical services including pharmacy programs.
The business manager will manage the 340B contract pharmacy relationship for Infectious Diseases, will evaluate expansion of 340B and non 340B contract pharmacy relationships across the department. S/he will work collaboratively with internal and external pharmacies, physician and non physician leadership, operational staff and the finance team to 1) identify new opportunities 2) perform feasibility analysis 3) ensure compliance with regulations 4) ensure fiscal soundness of the program 5) operationalize new ventures 6) ensure excellent customer service.
As pharmacy programs are established the Business Manager will staff other operational and financial projects across the department.
The position requires strong financial skills, attention to detail and a passion for developing and implementing new programs. Must possess the ability to manage, prioritize effectively and problem solve. Specialty pharmacy or materials management experience is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, demonstrate initiative, be facile with computer systems, and have moderate to advanced Excel skills.
Bachelor'sdegree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Nursing or related field. Five (5)years ofexperiencein business analysis or materials management.
