Pratt & Whitney Military Engines is establishing a new Business Acquisition Center of Excellence (BACE) organization and is seeking an experienced, motivated individual to join the team in the newly created Business Intelligence Specialist position. The BACE has a need for a Business Intelligence Specialist with experience in data analytics and metrics optimization. We are interested in furthering our data collection and analysis practices, so you will be responsible for instituting new policies, procedures and programs from the ground up with the end goal of maximizing profitability, and increasing our efficiency. You;ll be responsible for analyzing several different types of data; primarily including data related to tracking and management of proposal operations. You will provide enterprise-wide visibility into Military Engines (ME) proposal activity through technical/analytical support and tracking/management of the business acquisition process, with excellent communication skills, and who has a passion for excellence, values, continuous learning, integrity, and innovation.

Detailed responsibilities include:
Review and validate customer data as it is collected
Oversee the deployment of data to/from CRM, SharePoint, data warehouse or other data source
Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data from multiple source locations
Create or discover new data procurement and processing programs
Cooperate with our IT department to deploy potential software or hardware upgrades that make it possible for us to leverage BI tools across the BACE
Monitor analytics and metrics results
Implement new data analysis methodologies
Review customer files to ensure integrity of data collection and utilization
Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies
Create CRM requirements documents that add/change/delete functionality to our current CRM to support the management of the BACE and its customers
Communicate and promote the Pratt & Whitney BACE brand strategy
Support additional tasks and responsibilities related to data collection, reporting, etc. assigned by the BACE leadership team
Qualification: Required:
7 years experience in a business intelligence role
3 years experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably within business intelligence or data analysis

Ability to understand and find appropriate applications for data and analysis results
Experience with SAP, CRM (MS Dynamics), SharePoint as data sources and potential data end state; system of record
Advanced understanding of database design and administration
Ability to define and write software development requirements based on end user needs and corporate standards
High-level MS Excel skills with ability to manipulate data using Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.
Mid-level PowerPoint skills
Familiarity with MS Access and standard SQL statements
Ability to understand a data schema and make configuration change requests based on performance or business needs
Familiarity with business intelligence tools (ex. COGNOS, Crystal Reports etc.)
Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to coordinate complex projects, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Education: Required: Bachelors Degree
Preferred: a degree in Business, Business Intelligence or related field; Masters Degree in Business Administration
